DISASTERS-WHAT DID JESUS SAY

What did Jesus say to do in a time of catastrophe? There were disasters that The Lord talked about.

The first was about those who lost their lives because of Pilate, & also those who lost their lives because the Tower of Siloam fell on them.

Jesus used these instances, as a chance to teach those Galilaens about what their attitude ought to be in response to these disasters. They are now being faced with catastrophe after another, & they must learn what Jesus taught about the subject.

Jesus was clear in saying that those that were killed were not any worse sinners than the people that survived & lived. Jesus was saying to the people that when a awful catastrophe occurs; it is a warning to all that survive the ordeal.

Jesus not only tells the people that they are no better than the ones that perished, but They goes a step further, & They tells them that they ought to repent or they also will perish.

When they see the disasters through the news reports; what do they do? First, & foremost; they repent of our own sins, & they turn to God. That is the most important response.

After that, they must pray, & The Holy Spirit will lead us & guide us. Those that have matured in the Lord; the actual sons & daughters of God are those who inquire of The Lord before they do anything.

Disasters are being televised in every area of the world today, & our first response is to humble ourselves, pray, seek God & turn from any & all of our own wicked ways. It is a warning to us, & they must recognize that it is only by the grace of God that they have not perished.

They know that whatever they do; it is of little value unless it is in obedience & anointed by The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will show us how to pray & what to do.

Repentance is a fabulous opportunity to be refreshed, renewed, & revived in The Lord. The Lord went about saying, Repent for The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Why did Jesus emphasis this point? Because they have no idea when our time to die will come, but The Lord Jesus was warning us to always repent in order to be right with Him.

They are seldom to take our salvation for granted because they are told to work out our own salvation with fear & trembling & also that those who endure to the finish will be saved They are told to take heed when they think they stand; in case they fall, & they are not to think more highly of ourselves than they ought to.

Presumption is something to be shunned. It is only by the grace of God that they will be saved, & all the works in the world won't usher us in to The Throne of God.

Jesus preached repentance all of the time because They loved all of the people, & They didn't require even person to perish without eternal salvation with Him. They here in these hazardous times require to do the same.

Each new catastrophe & tragedy is a chance for repentance, refreshing, renewal & revival. When they do what Jesus taught us to do first, then they will be greatly effective in whatever They leads us to do.

Jesus only did what The Sister revealed for Him to do, & how much more ought to they only do as They directs. Let us put The Lord Jesus Christ in His rightful position as The Head & Lord of The Church, which is His Body.
