Preparing Engineering projects proposal

Engineering is the base of the existing highly competitive and growing IT industry which encompasses various types of businesses in present era.
Purple Ladder one of the most appreciated and reliable engineering projects web portals offering you the best engineering design project ideas complied with comprehensive and precise reference material. We provide you detailed background information on the topics, design methodologies, judged criteria, process, analyzing requirements, planning of detailed phases, tools, one or more artifacts (hardware, software, document etc.) and various other concerning material. Our free engineering project ideas are highly innovative, interactive and pioneering.

You constantly need to establish strong and reliable collaboration with new clients, get project approvals, sign new contracts and contact new customers no matter you own an automating factory of marine engines manufacture, enhancing wind generator efficiency or any other business. The engineering projects have three steps:

Initial thinking about what you want to do
Refine ideas and consider choices
Register project choices

Engineering is all concerned with details, identifying problems, analyze their requirements and documenting all this in easy to understand and communicate format. You need to prepare a comprehensive business proposal instead a simply composing the products and services that you offer to the clients and expect to finalize the deals. In order to prepare an labs you need to follow specific guidelines that includes
Comparing the scientific method and the engineering procedures
Reviewing of the engineering procedure (what should use the engineering procedure for their science fair project?)
Identify and define the need rather than asking the questions
Background research plan and bibliography (defining your target users, research what already exists to accomplish the need you have defined, perform research that will help you to establish your design criteria and sample design criteria)
Review of literature
Establish design criteria rather than variables and hypothesis
Prepare material list and primary designs rather than the experimental procedure
Develop and test a prototype rather than conducting an experiment
Redesign and retest versus data analysis and graph
Engineering projects are an important aspect of the engineering curriculum which formulate career of students. Therefore, before choosing the topics for engineering projects one need to consider some important factors such as:

Availability of resources
Personal interest in subject or topic
Guide or Supervisor
Costing during project fabrication or preparation

RE is one of the most interesting procedures of discovering the basis technical principles of a gadget, system or object. Reverse engineering projects include mathematics, computer engineering, biological sciences, coLab and FGCZ (Functional Genomics Center Zurich). The final year engineering projects represent your personal abilities and strengthen and prepare layout of your future perspective. Its like a golden opportunity for the students to prove their skills and specialist. The final year project is very important for the students because of several factors such as:

Largest piece of work and research during the engineering curriculum
Enabling to specialize in a topic you are interested in
Mostly asked by the interviewers
Important for future perspective
Enable you to express your skills and knowledge learned during the degree course
Encourage integration of material learned in various course units

Out of the Closet!

We may sometimes consider the difficulty that occurs with our acceptance of ourselves and of who we are in accordance with the expectations of others.
Do you understand what I am talking about? Or am I speaking alone here?

I grew up in an environment dominated with the influence of the Catholic religion, and studied in the field of Engineering and Computer Science. With these factors in mind, I grew to become a natural skeptic, without realization. Any circumstance or opinion, which I encountered in respect to spirituality, would be considered with the analytical and skeptical mind that I had developed, in accordance to the environmental influences that I had grown up with.

In addition to my natural reaction of analyzing situations or circumstances that I was faced with in my life experience, I found the result to be a contradiction of terms. There was always one thing that exceeded my capacity to analyze or scrutinize. There was always something missing in my life. Something that I realized existed beyond any of my analytical means.

Holding an engineering degree did not alter any stance in my life by any means. Throughout my life I encountered very interesting people that introduced me to the spiritual aspects of life, without making me feeling imposed upon. I was merely listening and observing at this point on my particular experience.

Over 10 years ago, specific events occurred that drove me to further investigate the significance of my spiritual path, and to discover my blueprint in life. My first step was learning about meditation. I was faced with no alternative but to accept this and try the new method without analyzing the process.

When I realized, in the beginning, that it was essential to be in touch with my female side, it left me (like any man) questioning this in terms of an affront on my masculinity. Masculinity being the main focus for concern! Of course as men, in general, we have this additional obstacle to overcome when being involved in spirituality. However, I believe we make a bigger issue out of this than is necessary.

We do have our ego, our manhood, and finally the aspect I feel to be the most important, that many men are denying any involvement in spirituality when they assume that opening their female side is associated with being gay. This is not the case. Its association with our sexual direction in life, and whatever sexual partner we choose in our life, is of our own free choice and free will.

Opening the female side within our manhood allows the opening of intuition or our sixth sense so to speak. This also applies to any female who requires developing her masculine side to bring strength to her decisions and to her level of assertiveness. However, with these requirements in mind, the important thing here can be summarized in one word for both the male and female BALANCE harmony between the male and female sides. There are so many gifted men out there that refuse to accept the spiritual side of their nature and create unnecessary inhibitions that exist only in their minds.

Throughout the last 10 years, I have developed myself spiritually by means of studying meditation, learning healing from my own guides, learning astrology, and palmistry until I discovered numerology.

In the last ten years I have learnt a great deal, however, I was always in the closet and here I am now stepping out of the closet!
On stepping out of the closet, I am allowing myself the capacity to be completely open with myself, and enabling myself to express my beliefs to the public, bearing in mind, I am still involved in the so-called business world with my regular day job.

Until next time

Options For A Distance Learning PhD Business Or Computer Science Degree

Other than business the next most popular degree for PhD programs is computer science. The reason for this is that these types of degrees are highly versatile and are ones that carry the future on their backs. Business is something that has always been around and will continue as long as there is a society that thrives on commerce. Computer science deals with the future of technology and if you consider how much technology and computers are a part of our every day lives you can see why distance learning PhD business degrees are as popular as are distance learning computer science degrees.

There are a few things to consider when looking into degree programs in either of these fields. The first thing to consider is the amount of time that you want to take obtaining your degree. There are several different options based on the university and the type of program that should be considered. The first option is the type of distance learning PhD business program that is based on a traditional set up.

This means classes are run the same way they are with a regular class. Lectures are usually video taped and placed onto DVDs and reading material is provided this way as well. The course is set up the same way traditional classes are. Then there are the online distance learning PhD business programs that are accelerated in order to complete the program in usually a quarter to half of the time it normally takes.

Other Things To Consider

There are a number of other things to consider as well when looking into distance learning programs. One of the biggest things is how much time you have to devote to the program. Accelerated programs can help you to complete your degree quickly, which is an advantage especially if you are working for a company that is willing to assist you with your education in order to place you in a different position within the company. They do however require a bit more devotion and the ability to work independently in order to accomplish.

This is of benefit for distance learning PhD business programs, however it may not be for everyone and you may find that you have an easier time based on your schedule to make use of a traditional based distance learning program. This issue, other than expense, is probably the biggest consideration when looking at distance learning PhD business programs.

NCLEX RN Test US Educated vs Internationally Educated Students

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing, NCSBN research states the gap between international students and US educated students passing the NCLEX RN is diminishing.

In 2000 there were more than seventy-one thousand US educated pupils sitting for the NCLEX exam and over seventy-five hundred pupils educated outside the United States. International students made up only 10.5% of the students sitting for the exam.

As demands for nurses increased so did the number of students studying nursing. An aging population, growing population, and increased number of nurses used in place of doctors is causing a serious demand for nurses.

The demand for nurses in the US is being answered by students in abroad. Many United States Citizens are arguing that there are citizens with education and experience to fill the positions in the computer science field and issuing more work visas will only increase unemployment in the US. Will nurses in the United States be competing for jobs in the United States with students educated abroad? Last year there were 119,579 US educated students and 33,768 internationally educated students sitting for the NCLEX RN test. More than 28% of all nursing students taking this exam.

The dramatic increase is quite possibly the result of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing opening three exam centers abroad. In just seven years the percentage of international students has risen 17.5%

Students educated outside the US are keen to the demand for nurses in North America and know that educating themselves may be their opportunity to obtain a work visa and possible permanent residency in the United States and may garner them a life of a greater quality of living and freedom from oppression.

Students Educated in the United States are still out performing international students, but international students are gaining on them.Last year, there were 119,579 United States educated nursing students taking the NCLEX RN. 85.5% of them passed. 52% of the 33,768 students educated outside the United States nurses passed the first time.

How about those students who had to repeat the test? Last yearthere were a total of 26,411 students retaking the exam These were United States educated students repeating the test. Simple math indicates that a portion of the nursing students are repeating the test multiple times Only 52.4% of these repeat test takers passed. The pass rate for Students educated outside the United States dropped to 25.7%

NCLEX Audio test prep materialsare available online. Since the audios are available online they are accessible to anyone in the world.

Students from around the world listen to the audios to prepare for the nursing classes, reinforce what they are learning and prepare for the exams., but a few students have thought ahead and use it to learn the class material prior to starting the class.

Most students attribute poor test results to the lack of time they have to study. NCLEX review materials on audio make it easier to review while performing other activities such as driving or going to the gym.

Mobbing in the Workplace Has This Happened to You

Mobbing in the Workplace Has This Happened to You

Mobbing in the Workplace Has This Happened to You

Mobbing in the workplace has long been studied in Europe. Just look it up on a search engine. Described in "Mobbing: Emotional Abuse in the American Workplace", published by Davenport, Elliott, and Schwartz in 1999, mobbing is about collective assault in the corner office, in cubbies, on the assembly line, or in the board room.

It is an insidious form of psychological abuse conducted through innuendo, intimidation, harassment, badgering, humiliation, degradation and rumor. As a personal and professional coach, I listen to clients all the time who have been through this or seen it happen, and together we struggled for words to describe it. This book gives us the words and is the beginning. "Until evil is named," writes Daniel Maguire,e professor of ethics at Marquette University and author of "Ethics for a Small Planet," it cannot be addressed.

I was pleased to read that it's a tort. It should be. I was also pleased to read that, should the 'mobbed' individual need therapy, it is to be considered an injury, not an illness. This book is a serious call to action to decent human beings -- be they managers, CEOs, or employees; and describes a syndrome coaches, counselors, trainers and therapists need to recognize. If you have been the victim of mobbing, and are still suffering the consequences, please get help.

A mob is one of the most vicious subcultures in any society. Powerfully described in the classic, "The Ox Bow Incident," we understand that a mob behaves in a way no individual human would. "Single-focused, whipped to a frenzy by a puffed-up martinet and unfettered by normal restraints of morality," writes book reviewer Mary Bradley, "the mob is merciless in its assault." In the worst-case scenario we have a lynching or a holocaust.

Did you not know immediately what this term "mobbing" meant as applied to the work world? "People are aware of it, but they never had a name for it," says Elliott. "When we speak to people, they know immediately what we are talking about."

Study after study in psychology proves that people draw a perverse strength from the group and will do in a group what they would never do alone. Normal moral behavior, common decency, if you will, is discarded by the same sort of mentality that produces a gang rape. The new manager whose reports decide to drive him out ... the competent but beautiful new receptionist who's pulled down by jealous co-workers ... the manager who becomes threatened by the talents of a report ... Done by peers, subordinates and/or superiors, the goal is to force someone out using gossip, ostracism, intimidation, discreditation, humiliation, and just plain meanness.

The blame is projected on the victim, who, 'gas lighted,' becomes confused, has trouble perceiving correctly (that people could really do this), and accepts that he or she is incompetent, to blame, etc.

Dr. Heinz Leymann, German industrial psychologist, is credited for identifying the syndrome in Europe, Japan and Australia where he studied it for nearly 20 years. He lived in Sweden and estimated that 15% of the suicides in Sweden were the result of mobbing in the workplace. It is cruelty in the extreme, a group bullying process that can go or weeks, months, even years, until the job is done. When interviewed, mobbers often claim they didn't know they were harming anyone.

Mobbing is a particularly insidious form of emotional abuse, and the impact on the individual can be devastating. The authors cite cases of individuals unable ever to return to work after mobbing. In addition, mobbing is a serious behavioral risk-management issue for organizations. It destroys morale, erodes trust, cripples initiative, and results in dysfunction, absenteeism, resignations, guilt, anxiety, paranoia, negativity, and marginal production. Key players leave and the effects are long-lasting.

Mobbing is a "widespread, vicious, workplace tort [civil wrongs recognized by law as grounds for a lawsuit--and in this case an intentional tort]," says Scott H. Peters, Esq. of The Peters Law Firm. P.C., Iowa (quoted in the article "Did You Hear of Mobbing?" by Elliott. It is difficult to stop once it gets going, but managers can learn to recognize the patterns.

In the book the authors even cite cases where HR managers were 'ordered' by superior 'mobbers' to support a mobbing process.

In personal correspondence with Ms. Elliott, she told me that people often come up to her after her talks and say, "This will never happen again on my watch," which is heartening. Emotional intelligence (EI) and awareness in the work place are one of the antidotes to mobbing.

Mirai Botnet Attacks

Image source: http://www.securitynewspaper.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/mirai-ddos-trojan-is-the-next-big-threat-for-iot-devices-and-linux-servers-507964-2.png

Mirai Botnet Attacks Likely Pulled Off By Bored Teenagers

The Mirai botnet DDoS attacks were the largest on record and they were likely masterminded by teenagers.

In October, a massive DDoS attack on the Dyn DNS Managed DNS infrastructure brought down a number of major websites, including PayPal, Twitter, Amazon, Netflix, and Spotify. The attack was accomplished through the use of the Mirai botnet, a piece of open source malware that works by compromising Internet of Things (IoT) devices and turning them into zombies. It was the largest DDoS attack in history, and it illustrated the significant vulnerabilities posed by insecure IoT devices.

In the aftermath of the Mirai attacks, cyber security experts went to work to find out who was behind them. Was this the work of foreign or domestic terrorists? Nation-state hackers? Organized crime groups? Turns out, the largest DDoS attack ever recorded was most likely orchestrated not by organized terror groups or criminal masterminds, but teenagers. Vice News reports:

[T]he worlds leading cybersecurity experts have been following clues to track who is responsible. Theyve come to a disturbing conclusion: the biggest DDoS attack in history was probably not caused by a state-sponsored actor, organized crime, terror groups, or anyone with a geopolitical or financial motive. So whos left?

Kids, said Mikko Hypponen, chief research officer with security firm F-Secure. Kids who have the capability and dont know what to do with it.

The source code that was released could have been written by a high school student, a smart high school student, but a high school student nonetheless, security expert Rob Graham said after examining the malware used in the attacks. It wasnt particularly sophisticated.

The notion that a rank amateur could manage to pull off such a massive cyber attack is not unprecedented. In 2008, a Polish teenager hacked into the tram system of the city of Lodz, Poland, derailing four trains and injuring a dozen people. When questioned by authorities, he claimed that the hack was done as a prank.

Anyone can download the source code for Mirai. Its available online, along with helpful, step-by-step instructions. As the recent DDoS attacks prove, it doesnt take a computer science degree, the financial backing of a nation-state or terror group, or much skill to use it. This begs the same question that was asked after the Lodz tram debacle: If a high school kid motivated only by the desire to stir things up a bit can do this much damage, what could an organized, skilled, well-funded group of highly motivated cyber terrorists accomplish?

Insecure IoT Devices No Match for Mirai

The Mirai malware takes advantage of a very simple but extremely serious vulnerability that plagues IoT devices from routers to printers to DVRs: Many, if not most users have never changed the default passwords their devices came with because they dont know how, they dont understand why they should, or both. Even in cases where a security-conscious user realizes they need to change their devices password, they may not be able to; on some devices, the login credentials are hard-coded into the firmware, making it difficult or impossible for end users to change them.

Part of the PCI DSS standards that retailers and credit card processors must follow dictate that no hardware should ever be connected to a network unless its default login credentials have been changed. There are two good reasons for this. First, the majority of data breaches are the result of hackers obtaining legitimate login credentials into a system, and second, manufacturer default passwords are widely available online. The Mirai source code contains 68 user name and password combinations. Since manufacturers often use the same login credentials for multiple devices, just one set could allow a hacker to access hundreds, possibly thousands of devices.

Mirai works by scanning the internet for specific devices, then attempting to access them using manufacturer default credentials. Once Mirai successfully compromises a device, hackers can turn it into a zombie often without the devices owner even realizing it. Once an army of zombie devices has been amassed, it can be used flood specific web servers with so many junk requests that they slow to a crawl or crash.

Mirai DDoS Attacks the Canary in the Coal Mine for IoT Security

In the wake of the Mirai attacks, Chinese manufacturer Hangzhou Xiongmai voluntarily recalled its home webcams, and its possible more manufacturers will follow suit. However, in light of the serious issues raised by Mirai, much more has to be done. The situation is so bad, and IoT manufacturers have dragged their feet for so long, some experts are now calling for the federal government to step in and regulate IoT security.

If IoT manufacturers do not step up to the plate and clean their own houses, they are setting themselves up not only for onerous government regulations but also cyber attacks that are far more destructive than the Mirai DDoS attacks.

Men Wont Approach Me!

Men Wont Approach Me!

Dear Dr. Neder:

I am an African female who has very short hair and for these reasons, I feel that men are intimidated by me. I am 5'0 feet tall and very petite with a voluptuous body. Aside from my looks however, my speaking abilities are very polished and I also major in Math and Computer Science. I have been told that I am a very beautiful woman but for some reasons all the good looking guys my age won't approach me let alone look at me. I end up attracting the ones I do not like. The guys I do like often times do not seem to be interested in me. What should I do?
==============
Hello!

There are two issues with being approached - and being "approachable". The first is that it doesn't really matter how you look! Almost everyone is attractive to someone else. That's something of a prerequisite for the approach. However, what's even more important is being approachable. I can't tell you how many women I see just out running around (not at bars or clubs) that have their eyes down, never look at anyone else, smile or make any sort of human contact, are all wrapped up, looking like secret agents - then they don't understand why men don't approach them!

So, the first rule is to be approachable. But, how do you do that? Here are some suggestions:

* You want to make sure that you have an "approachable attitude". If you're unhappy about something at work or home and are ready to bite of the head of the first person you see, you're obviously not going to be approachable. Having a calm, happy demeanor will help do make you approachable.

* Make eye contact! Keeping your eyes buried in whatever you're carrying or on the ground isn't going to help you here. You need to look into the eyes of people as this signals your approachability. On the other hand, don't stare down other people. This is a subtle dance where you make eye contact, let it linger just a little and then look down and to the side.

* Smile! If you're in a good mood, (and express it), people will be drawn to you naturally. Adding this smile to the eye contact noted above will help you greatly.

* Keep an "open posture". If you're standing or sitting somewhere with your arms crosses, you're signaling the world to not approach you. On the other hand, if you have an open posture - arms relaxed at your sides or on a table for instance, leaning slightly forward, shoulders parallel to someone you'd like to meet, you're telling that person to approach you.

There are a ton of other body-language signals you can use, and for a complete discussion of these, I'll refer you to my book, "Being a Man in a Woman's World II".

Wait, I mentioned TWO issues about being approached, so what's the second?

Simple: learn to DO the approaching yourself too!

Today, there's nothing wrong with women approaching men. Not only does this NOT seem like a terribly aggressive action, it's easy and simple to do. There are very few men today that don't enjoy being approached, and let's face it, if you meet one of these guys, are you really that interested in dating him in the first place?

Women can use the same approach methods that men use. For much more on this please visit my website.

Best regards...
